Hair goes through a “growing”
and “dying” cycle called “hair cycle”.
The epilator’s light only removes hair in its growing phase and it does not affect hair in the regression or resting phase.
Therefore, after irradiating the portion of the hair that is in its growing phase, it is necessary to wait until the other hair reaches this phase.
Pricey epilators tend to care too much about hair cycle and refrain from producing irradiation that is too strong.

The power meter lamp lights up in green. The irradiation level is set at “1” at first. Please press the Power button again to select the irradiation level you want. The irradiation level can be adjusted in 5 steps for epilation and 3 steps for facial care.

After setting the irradiation level, wait until the power meter lamp lights. Select an area and place the device against the skin, then press the irradiation button.
※ If there is a gap between the skin and the irradiation slit, irradiation is canceled for safety reasons. When this happens, please remove the device from the skin and press the irradiation button.
※ As the light is strong, please make sure to turn your eyes from EGG SHOT at the time of the irradiation. You may also wear sunglasses when using the device.

- Is there anything to be aware of when using a light epilator?
- There are two points. First, although the light epilator only functions when in close contact with the skin, some the light always leaks. Therefore, please turn your eyes away from the epilator during use or close them. Secondly, when you use the device on sensitive skin, avoid skin damage by always starting at a lower strength level.
- Can the device be used on the face?
- Yes, of course. However, the light may affect your vision or in worst cases cause blindness, so please make sure to close your eyes when you use it. Also, as facial skin is sensitive, please use at a low strength level. Even with your eyes closed, the light will reach the eyes when using the device for areas above your nose, so please refrain from doing so.
- How long will it take to remove the hair?
- There are individual differences, but with a light epilator (flash type), you can expect to see the results after around six months. This is the same as beauty salon epilation. The
hair root has a cycle, and when light is applied at a certain cycle, the hair root dies. As the effect is different for each root, it takes about 6 months to destroy all the hair roots. - How often should I use it?
- Considering the hair cycle, we recommend using the device about once every two weeks. However, as there may be areas where the flash has not reached properly, use the device as often as you can or at least 1 to 3 times a week.
